Having spent 10 years documenting subjects around Lucknow, I'm currently leading Communications and Creative Operations for the Lucknow Bioscope project.
As a visual artist, my work extensively explores the nuances and evolution of Awadhi culture, ranging from architectural history, food, music, and dance traditions, to the unique artisans who express their ethnographic identities through their craft.
In other adventures, I have photographed for publications and museums related to the Indian Armed Forces, contributing my artistic perspective to the documentation of our armed forces. I’ve also engaged in social documentation, shedding light on Gender-Based Violence in the Bundelkhand region in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to raise awareness and advocate for change through the power of visual storytelling.
I've also had the privilege of showcasing my work in several exhibitions, both as an individual artist and as a curator or co-curator. My contributions have been recognised through publications such as India Today and BBC. Notably, my work has been featured in the Chikankari book by Paola Manfredi, a testament to the impact of my exploration of Awadhi culture.
Through my multifaceted endeavours in art, social documentation, education, and collaboration with various institutions, I continue to be dedicated to preserving and celebrating the diverse cultural and social fabrics, several projects at a time.
